Sciatica

Sciatica is inflammation of the Sciatic Nerve that runs from your lower back to your feet. Our diagnosis will tell us if it is discal in origin and we will order an MRI to see if the disc is ruptured or just bulging so that we can treat you successfully.

Sciatica can also be caused by a spastic Piriformis muscle and an MRI is not necessary. Research tells us that only 15% are ruptured and need surgery.
